Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for modeling and developing mechanical designs. You prepare 2D drawings and technical documentation, which you discuss and review with the Project Engineer or Mechanical Specialist. You are responsible for the mechanical detailed engineering of the projects that have been assigned to you. Within this position, you support various departments, including Sales, Assembly, Testing and Service, and where necessary, you also provide technical support to other teams within the organization. You are part of the Engineering Department and report to the EMEA Engineering Manager. An important part of your work is drawing up production and dimensional drawings for both the existing product range and sales quotes. In addition, you make P&ID drawings and layouts of technical rooms, both for current projects and for quotes. You review, adapt and carefully record technical suggestions. You also provide the necessary material and purchase specifications. Finally, you play an active role in the continuous improvement of work processes, standardization and working methods. With your technical knowledge and eye for detail, you make a valuable contribution to the successful implementation of our projects.
